Kirgizië oppositie ‘in charge’

Politie slaags met duizenden demonstranten tegen de regering in de hoofdstad Bishkek [AFP]
Oppositieleiders in Kirgizië zeggen dat ze een nieuwe regering gevormd die in het land, na een dag van dodelijke schermutselingen tussen politie en demonstranten tegen de regering.

Leden van de oppositiepartij maakte de aankondiging op een state tv-zender op woensdag, kort nadat demonstranten bestormden en in beslag genomen het kanaal in de hoofdstad Bishkek.

RIA, een Russisch persbureau, noemde de oppositie zegt dat de regering ontslag had genomen en Kurmanbek Bakijev, de president, had de hoofdstad.

Een luchthaven ambtenaar zei later dat Bakijev had gevlogen uit Bishkek, het persagentschap AFP gemeld.

Het was niet onmiddellijk mogelijk is om de beweringen te verifiëren.

Al Jazeera Robin Forestier-Walker, de rapportage van Bishkek, aldus leden van de oppositie had een van de belangrijkste televisiestations regering eerder op de dag geconfisqueerd.

“Ze kwamen in de lucht en sprak over de situatie, aantrekkelijk voor de rust en aantrekkelijk voor mensen om kleine bedrijven en winkels te beschermen tegen plunderaars.

“Maar het belangrijkst is, zij beschreven hebben gevormd een volk voor montage en dat ze iemand in rekening te brengen van Bishkek, die min of meer betekent dat ze zeggen te nemen benoemd, ‘Wij zijn de baas. We zijn in controle. We ‘t nu de overheid’. ”

Gewelddadige botsingen

De aankondiging kwam na uren van gewelddadige confrontaties in Bishkek, waarbij ten minste 40 mensen werden gedood en meer dan 400 andere gewonden, Kirgizië ministerie van Volksgezondheid gezegd.

Maar de oppositie zei ten minste 100 mensen waren omgekomen.

Duizenden demonstranten boos over de corruptie en de stijgende energierekeningen had eerder in beslag genomen overheidsgebouwen en botsten met de oproerpolitie, die traangas, rubberen kogels en granaten flitser op de menigte.

Onze correspondent zei dat de demonstranten ‘klachten zijn een mengeling van politieke en economische frustraties.

“Als het aankomt op echte frustratie, het is de economische problemen die echt mensen motiveren. De belangrijkste keerpunt kunnen zijn de invoering van nieuwe tarieven energierekening.

“People’s energierekeningen verdubbeld ’s nachts in januari en dat veroorzaakt ernstige consternatie onder een aanzienlijk deel van de bevolking, die grotendeels door de slechte internationale normen.

Noodtoestand

Autoriteiten verklaard een landelijke noodtoestand na het geweld.

Botsingen tussen politie en demonstranten zich uitbreiden naar verschillende steden in het noorden [Reuters]
Woensdag onrust kwam een dag nadat duizenden mensen in het noordwesten van de stad Talas bestormden regionale regering kantoren.

De demonstranten brak in een overheidsgebouw, waar ze kort heeft gegijzeld Bolotbek Beishenbekov, de lokale beheerder.

Honderden demonstranten verzamelden zich rond dan een lokaal politiebureau en molotovcocktails gooiden naar portretten van Bakijev.

Omurbek Tekebayev, de leider van de oppositiepartij Ata-Meken, zei het protest in Talas was onderdeel van een golf van betogingen gepland door de oppositie onder druk te zetten Bakijev aan hun eisen te voldoen.

Tekebayev eiste dat Bakijev dringend corruptie aan te pakken en vuur zijn familieleden van hooggeplaatste regeringsfunctionaris posities.

Media hardhandig optreden

De onrust komt temidden van de toenemende spanningen tussen de oppositie en de regering van Bakijev, die zij beschuldigen van het kraken van de onafhankelijke media en het bevorderen van corruptie.

Bruce Pannier, een journalist en Kirgizië expert met Radio Free Europe Radio Liberty in Praag, zei de president beloofde het land te hervormen geleden toen hij aantrad vijf jaar.

“[Maar] zijn strijd tegen corruptie is niet echt heel ver gegaan in de regering, ‘zei hij tegen Al Jazeera.

“Wat als hij de strijd tegen vriendjespolitiek, de mensen in Kirgizië weten dat hij een aantal van zijn broers benoemd tot stand posities en dat zijn zoon draait eigenlijk de Kirgizische economie.

“Wat als een onafhankelijk media, Kirgizië had altijd een vrij levendige onafhankelijke media … maar sinds het begin van 2009, is de situatie een bepaalde draai genomen voor het ergste.”

Eerder deze maand, een Kirgizische rechter sloot een oppositie krant en twee kranten verboden dicht bij de oppositie, een geldboete van 111.000 dollar zou hebben beledigd Bakijev.

Bakijev – die aan de macht kwam vijf jaar geleden na straatprotesten geleid tot de zogenaamde van het land Tulpenrevolutie die verdreven zijn voorganger – is uitgegroeid steeds impopulair op rekening van Dire het land de economische situatie.

Kirgizië, een verarmde ex-Sovjet-landen in Centraal-Azië, is lang beschouwd als een van de meest politiek in de regio instabiele landen.

Veel vooral marokkanen voelen zich gediscrimineerd in dit land, maar nu mijn vraag, hebben zij eigenlijk wel het recht om dit te voelen?

Als eerste, ik ben de laatste die zal zeggen dat discriminatie iets positiefs is, en ik ben ertegen.

Maar dat van iedereen juist de marokkanen het hardst roepen dat ze gediscrimineerd worden in Nederland vind ik echt verbazend.

Ten eerste omdat ze het niet eens voor elkaar krijgen om elkaar niet te discrimineren.
Marokkanen onderling maken namenlijk al verschil tussen elkaar, en binnen dit volk word al onderscheid gemaakt tussen elkaar, en kunnen elkaar niet zien of luchten.

natuurlijk haten marokkanen joodse mensen tot op het bot, en zullen het niet nalaten om hun zoveel mogenlijk te terroriseren als mogenlijk.
En ondanks dat marokkaanse mannen elkaar openlijk kusjes geven, en bij gebrek aan vrouwen zelfs sex met elkaar hebben bij gebrek aan vrouwen, zien ze dit toch niet als homofilie.
Maar ondertussen wel homo’s in elkaar slaan als ze de kans hebben.

Misschien wel een grappig tv format trouwens, laat 2 homo’s of een jood met keppeltje in klederdracht eens door een marokkaanse buurt in Nederland lopen,en volg ze eens met een verborgen camera.
Ik zou wel eens willen zien hoeveel meter het lopen het duurt voordat ze in elkaar geslagen worden.

Op school mocht ik al geen petje in de klas op, terwijl fatima wel een hoofddoekje op mocht, omdat het anders discriminerend zou zijn.
Vreemd is dat ik nooit van het gevoel af ben gekomen dat juist ik werd gediscrimineerd werd omdat ik niet religieus was.

Maar ok, wat ik me nu eigenlijk af vraag, moeten we eigenlijk wel mensen beschermen tegen discriminatie, als ze ze zelf wel het recht willen hebben om te mogen discrimineren?
